Innovate to Grow: CSIRO Program Helps Clean Energy SMEs Turn Ideas into Reality

The CSIRO’s Innovate to Grow program offers a free 10-week online program designed to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) develop their clean energy ideas and take them to the next level. Through mentorship and expert guidance, participants will gain the tools and knowledge needed to bring their ideas to fruition. Applications close on 23 June 2024

Program Structure

The program is a blend of self-paced learning and interactive workshops.

Preparation: Prepare for the program with introductory videos, onboarding materials, and questionnaires (3-4 hours).

Week 1: The official kick-off begins with a workshop featuring guest speakers from CSIRO, industry experts, and successful SMEs. Gain valuable insights on clean energy trends, innovation experiences, and funding opportunities. You’ll also meet your fellow participants and dedicated mentors.

Weeks 2-10: Fortnightly virtual webinars (3-4 hours) will provide opportunities for networking with peers and exposure to additional guest speakers.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, your business must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a clean energy concept to develop throughout the program
  • Be registered and operating in Australia
  • Be classified as an SME (employ fewer than 200 people)
  • Be currently exploring R&D opportunities, or in the early stages of doing so

Applications close on June 23rd, 2024. Accepted participants will begin the 10-week program on July 18th, 2024. This is a fantastic opportunity to turn your clean energy vision into a reality.
