The Role
As a seasoned Accountant with excellent client interfacing ability, you will eventually be one of the key points of contact for a busy client portfolio, backed by the support of a dedicated accounting team. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Performing a supervisory review role following our established quality control procedures, supporting clients including individuals, businesses and trusts
- Contributing to the firm’s overall budgeted billing and lodgement targets, including actively scoping billing opportunities and managing month-end WIP analysis and billing procedures
- Assisting with new client engagements, including onboarding and follow-up engagement work
- Conducting accounting, taxation research and advice work for clients
- Assisting with team member performance evaluations and appraisals
- Monitoring and delivering overall client service excellence, identifying new opportunities from existing and new clients and resolving client concerns or complaints
- Participating in seminars and client/staff training, as well as assisting with conferences, workshops, podcasts & articles

Skills, attributes and competencies required include:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in Australian Chartered Accounting firm/s
- Relevant degree qualifications in Commerce, Accounting or similar
- Ability to develop and maintain strong client relationships while following proper engagement protocols
- Demonstrated expertise in tax advisory, with experience applying technical knowledge within established professional guidelines
- Commitment to documentation standards and quality control procedures
- A collaborative team member who values both innovation and professional rigour
