Cooperative Research Centres Project Grants Now Open

Cooperative Research Centers Project

Get ready for Round 15 of the Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRC-P) funding! Learn the process of applying for a CRC-P Grant to create innovative technologies, products, or services.

Overview

Cooperative Research Centres Project (CRC-P) grants are aimed at fostering short-term research collaborations that last up to three years. These collaborations are geared towards projects that align with Government priorities, including the focus areas of the National Reconstruction Fund and the Science and Research priorities. If your project relates to the circular economy, that’s even better – we’re especially keen on those.

What do you get?

You can secure matched funding ranging from $100,000 to $3 million for your project. This funding can assist in covering expenses related to research, testing concepts, advancing research outcomes toward commercial viability, providing industry-oriented education, training activities, and more.

Criteria Summary

To qualify, projects should aim to develop solutions that address industry challenges and provide tangible results, especially benefiting small to medium enterprises (SMEs).

Projects should:

  • Create a product, service, or process that addresses industry challenges and yields practical results.

  • Provide advantages to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

  • Incorporate educational and training components.

You have the flexibility to allocate the funding towards expenses directly associated with your project, such as:

  • Conducting new research

  • Carrying out proof of concept activities

  • Advancing research outcomes towards pre-commercialization

  • Implementing education and training initiatives tailored to the industry

  • Organizing conferences, workshops, and symposia connected to the collaborative research

  • Facilitating information sharing and communication pertinent to the research.

Please note that this list is not exhaustive, and other eligible expenses may also be considered.

The window to apply closes at 5:00 pm AEST on Thursday, September 14, 2023. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.
